Help for Health celebrated their 21st Anniversary at the University of Hull and highlighted the charity’s work over the past 21 years as well as announcing new funding opportunities to support health and wellbeing initiatives across the Humber region. In attendance were The Lord Lieutenant East Riding of Yorkshire, Mr James Dick OBE, The High Sheriff East Riding of Yorkshire, Tina Cerutti and Deputy Lord Mayor of Hull, Councillor John Robinson.
ReadIn November 2014 Help for Health agreed to commit up to £15,000 in match funding for defibrillators when a site/community raises £750. Smile’s vision is for designated funding to be available to community groups, companies, schools or charities to encourage a coordinated effort to add 100 new defibrillators across our region by the end of 2017.
