Linkage Community Trust

July 2022 - A grant of £55,000 was awarded to Linkage College as part of a major re-development project. Opened in October 2021 as East Riding’s first further education college for young people with learning disabilities, the college has been established to meet the growing demand for high quality provision, preparing young people with learning disabilities for adulthood in the most appropriate way for them.

Help for Health have funded facilities including a new independence training suite and kitchen, a sensory room and immersive classroom equipped with the latest technology and a performing arts studio with stage and sprung floor.

As an independent college, Linkage provides a range of individualised study programmes for learners based on their particular needs, aspirations and abilities. Courses, ranging from independent living and general life skills, to travel training and performing arts, tailored to the individual, help them develop independence and grow in confidence.
