Improving the health and well-being
of people living in East Yorkshire
and Northern Lincolnshire
The Trustees of Help for Health are pleased to announce they have made an initial grant of £2,500 to PAUL for Brain Recovery, a registered charity that was founded by a brain injury survivor, who realised that there was a gap in provision to support people returning home after brain injury.
This is the first community-based support service for those with brain injuries in East Yorkshire and is providing a drop-in centre based within the Wilberforce Health Centre in Hull. The Centre is run by volunteers and offers a place for people to go to socialise, interact and learn how to cope and move forward following brain injury. The centre opened in April 2016.
