Read moreOn Monday, 20th June 2016, the Help for Health Trustees visited the Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Research Centre at the University of Hull campus. Performance by the STROKESTRA ensemble on Friday, 3rd June 2016 at the St. Stephen’s Shopping Centre, Hull. In the last year Help for Health has funded many projects with grants totalling £263,308 helping to improve the health and well-being of people living in East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire. Using £15,000 of funding from Help for Health, the Hull and East Yorkshire (HEY) Smile Foundation has embarked on an ambitious scheme to install over 30 defibrillators in varying localities across Hull and East Yorkshire. MedEquip4Kids – Kings Mill Special School Driffield Approval was given at Help for Health’s July 2015 meeting to make a grant of £1,000 towards the cost of two large-size learning stations for pupils over 16, one of whom is a young man with muscular dystrophy and the Acheeva Learning Station will give him the support he needs to participate in education.Visit to Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Research Centre
