Improving the health and well-being
of people living in East Yorkshire
and Northern Lincolnshire
At their July 2016 meeting, the Help for Health Trustees approved a grant of £3,256 towards replacement kitchens for visually impaired tenants at Beech Holme Court, Hull. This is a supported housing complex of twenty-two flats, which provide individual homes for active, visually impaired people who live independently.
The kitchens are to be re-modelled for open plan living, will be spacious and have natural daylight through the installation of kitchen windows, which brings important health benefits for those with partial sight.
