Improving the health and well-being
of people living in East Yorkshire
and Northern Lincolnshire
The Trustees of Help for Health are pleased to confirm that at their January 2017 meeting they granted £10,000 to Combat Stress, the UK's leading mental health charity for veterans, to provide free specialist clinical treatment and support to ex-servicemen and women in East Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire.
The grant will support the Combat Stress Community Team in these areas. Made up of a community psychiatric nurse and an occupational therapist, the team is often a veteran’s first point of contact with the charity. Working together, the team delivers the support and treatment veterans need to help them rebuild their lives.
